Musical Bridges between Turkey and Croatia

The first of the concerts, organized in 25th year of the diplomatic relations between Turkey - Croatia by collaboration of Zagreb Yunus Emre Enstitüsü and Zagreb Municipality, was held in Ankara.

Zagreb Yunus Emre Enstitüsü continues its efforts to strengthen the cultural ties between Turkey and Croatia. The first of the concerts, organized by collaboration of Zagreb Yunus Emre Enstitüsü and Zagreb Municipality in 25th year of the diplomatic relations between Turkey and Croatia with the aim of strengthening the cultural ties between the two countries, was held in Ankara Presidential Symphony Orchestra Hall on October 7th. A prominent Croatian Band, The Zagreb Quartet presented the audience with a spectacular performance in the concert attended by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş, Republic of Croatia Acting Ambassador in Ankara Ivan Picukaric, Federal Republic of Brazil Ambassador Eduardo Ricardo Gradilone Neto, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture and Tourism, artists and a number of distinguished guests.

The second concert in Zagreb on October 25th

On October 25th, 2017, Çellİstanbul Quartet from Istanbul will meet with Croat music lovers at 8 P.M. at the Croatian Music Institute Hall in Zagreb. With a name inspired by Istanbul known for its magical atmosphere and historical wealth, Çellistanbul Cello Quartet continues to work with domestic and foreign artists to make music and introduce Turkey's rich musical melodies to the world.

Zagreb Yunus Emre Enstitüsü continues to collaborate with local stakeholders in Croatia to promote Turkey in Croatia, in addition to introducing Turkey, Turkish language, art, culture and history.
