Yunus Emre Enstitüsü signed Cooperation Protocol with Anadolu University

Yunus Emre Enstitüsü and Anadolu University signed a cooperation protocol in the scope of "Establishment of Liaison Office and Exam Centres in Enstitü Centres for Faculty of Open Education Services As Facilities Allow".

Ceremony held in Yunus Emre Enstitüsü headquarters in Ankara  was attended by Enstitü President Professor. Dr. Şeref Ateş, Anadolu University Rector Dr. Naci Gündoğan and the accompanying delegation.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Ateş reminded that they carry out Turkish instruction and general education activities especially for foreign children both in Turkey and abroad, and spoke as follows: "The scale you mentioned in this context may be meaningful for us. Lastly we carried out some programs for Syrian children, and we also carry out Turkish language instruction activities for elementary and junior high schools abroad, and there is benefit in establishing tangible collaborations in this subject. Next to academic and scientific support, this way we will make contributions to make Turkish widespread abroad at university level as a language of science. By way of this cooperation protocol, we will use both utilize this network of Anadolu University abroad and as Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, we will carry out joint activities for Anadolu University to draw more students and scientists to Turkey from abroad. The two institutions unite their forces and in addition to activities previously held acting in unison, we officially declare it with the protocol signed today. I wish this to be beneficial for the both institutions.”

Anadolu University Rector Dr. Naci Gündoğan stated that Anadolu University and Yunus Emre Enstitüsü are two important and major institutions of Turkey, and said, "In fact we have a lot in common. Yunus Emre is an institute that actually serves the same purpose. Enstitü is a distinguished organizations established with the aim of introducing Turkish culture, language and serving Turkish citizens abroad. Now the two institutions collaborate as they did in the past, but I hope this cooperation protocol will take it to the next level.”

Following the speeches, the protocol was signed by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü President Prof. Dr. Ateş and  Anadolu University Rector Prof. Dr. Gündoğan. Following the signing of the protocol, gifts were presented mutually.
