Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Wind in Moscow

A Turkish festival was held in the capital of the Russian Federation, Moscow for the first time.

The festival organized by contributions and under the auspices of Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, featured many activities organized to introduce Turkish culture. In the event attended by nearly two hundred thousand people throughout a three day period, where colourful presentations and music concerts from Turkey were held in each corner, one of the most interesting stands was the stand of Moscow Yunus Emre Enstitüsü soon to be inaugurated in Moscow.

While visitors received informed about Yunus Emre Enstitüsü in the stand, Turkish coffee and Turkish delight were offered as treats as well. Three baglama concerts on the main stage of the festival, performed each day, attracted intense interest from the audience.

Yunus Emre Enstitüsü stand which was visited by numerous prominent Russian publishers, was also visited by Turkish Ambassador in Moscow Hüseyin Diriöz who gave an interview to the press at the Enstitü tent.
