The Yunus Emre Institute has provided an opportunity for a delegation of the Al-Quds University and Palestinian students to meet the Thales Mathematics Museum set up within the framework of a Science and Mathematics Workshop in the city of Aydın. The Yunus Emre Institute has a Turkology protocol with the Al-Quds University. 

The workshop has been organized between 2-6 May 2018 to share the innovations and accumulation of knowledge that have been begun to be applied in  the teaching of mathematics in Turkey. The Governor of Aydın Selim Köşger has also attended the opening ceremony of the workshop.

The mobile mathematics museum was sent off to Bosnia-Herzegovina, its first destination abroad, after the opening ceremony. The Deans of the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Medical Sciences have presented Palestinian keffiyehs as a gift to Governor Köşger during the send-off ceremony.
