Yunus Emre Enstitüsü personnel Eid greeting program was held at the headquarters in Ulus before Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) and 10-days long holiday nationwide.

Yunus Emre Enstitüsü President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş who spoke in Eid greeting program attended by Enstitü staff, said, "We have two religious holidays and I would like us to remember the importance of these feasts again today and to celebrate it together. We must remember and never forget this tradition, otherwise this will cease to exist as other traditions. This is why we should especially be happy during the holiday. Above all it is a tradition. In what sense? It means to smile and to internalize. As of today, start smiling and let these smiles turn into positive energy until the end of holiday. Because you are very tired due to major organizations like Turkish Summer School and delegation visits in the last two months and you need energy. I hope you enjoy your holiday. You all deserve it. I hope when we return, we will achieve a variety of better things with success together.”

Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş ended his speech with following wishes: "You have to love each other more than ever. Yunus Emre Enstitüsü's mission is not limited to teaching Turkish to other nations, to promote Turkey, to tell the facts, but to survive Yunus Emre's philosophy of 'Love and be loved.' especially for ourselves and around the world. I wish all of you a scot-free holiday. We hope to see all of you safe and sound after the holiday. May God protect all of you, our nation and our country.”
