Informative meetings regarding Turkey-EU intercultural dialogue grant program continue

Under the scope of EU-Turkey Intercultural Dialogue (ICD), representatives of the cultural institutes that are members of EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) met on 21 March 2018 with the host being Yunus Emre Institute. 

Among the attendants of the meeting were Sébastien Du Courtois, EUNIC Ankara President and Director of French Cultural Centre, Romana Königsbrun, EUNIC İstanbul President and Director of Austrian Cultural Office, Cherry Gough, Country Director of the British Council, Şükran Erdiriç, representative of Ankara Italian Culture Centre, Yovanna Yaranoviç, representative of Ankara Embassy of Portugal, and Barbara Frankenberg, Director of Ankara Goethe Institute.

Following the presentation of the project managing team, during the questions & answers session, the application conditions for ICD Grant Program and the impact and continuity of European Union projects in Turkey were discussed. After the meeting in which possible cooperation areas with Yunus Emre Institute were also planned, the attendants of the meeting and the representatives of the institutions who visited “Cultural Stops” exhibition area in Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges building, belonging to the institute, were informed about several projects, activities, scientific and academic studies carried out by the Institute.
