A Protocol on Academic and Scientific Collaboration is Signed between Marmara University and Yunus Emre Institute

Marmara University was included in the Academic and Scientific Cooperation Project of Turkey (TABIP), under the auspices of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and conducted by the Yunus Emre Institute.

On behalf of our university to take part in the TABİP, which aims to introduce and increase Turkey’s activities, academic and scientific cooperation and international recognition in the academic field, the protocol was signed between the Rector of Marmara University Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar and President of the Yunus Emre Institute Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş on 26th June, 2019.

It is planned to assign human resources, share technical infrastructure, conduct joint projects, exchange information and data, develop institutional capacities and similar collaborations between the parties within the framework of the activities of TABİP and "science diplomacy".

With the framework of the protocol, Marmara University will conduct joint projects, trainings,  seminars, conferences, activities and programs in Turkey  and abroad with the cooperation of Yunus Emre Institute.  Innovation, research and development activities supported by TABİP or carried out by TABİP's partner organizations will be supported by Marmara University’s  technopark, incubation center and innovation center in order to ensure the realization of the developed scientific projects with the real sector.
