Melikşah Özen, acting as Melikşah Alp in "Diriliş Ertuğrul," a TV series which has become immensely popular in Turkey and many countries around the world, has come together with Palestinians living in East Jerusalem.

The program was held at Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center in Jerusalem and Özen expressed his satisfaction over his visit to the holy lands and his Palestinian fans.

Noting that he was honored to observe the interest Jerusalem's Palestinians pay to the TV series "Diriliş Ertuğrul" and his acting, Özen argued that the TV series played a significant role in bringing Muslim peoples closer.

At the end of the program, Melikşah Özen answered the questions from his fans. He indicated that he was not actually much into acting in the series as he used to ride horses and his real lifestyle was similar to his acting.

Özen also told his fans that his greatest dream was to travel from Istanbul to Mecca by riding a horse. He posed for souvenir photos with his fans at the platform set up in the garden of the cultural center.
