"Bosphorus Children" Painting Exhibition in Tokyo

"Bosphorus Children" painting exhibition opened its doors at Tokyo Yunus Emre Institute.

Art lovers showed great interest in the opening ceremony, which was also attended by Turkish Ambassador to Tokyo Korkut Güngen.

Tokyo Yunus Emre Institute Director Hüseyin Tuna informed the participants about the paintings in the "Bosphorus Children" exhibition.

In the exhibition, which started on April 21, 2022, the joint works of artist Kobayashi Yutaka and the writer Suezawa Yasushi, showcased together under the same name, were introduced. Delivering a speech at the opening of the exhibition, Ambassador Güngen read a comprehensive summary of the work and stated that “he saw Istanbul in the story of Halil and Tatsuki,” the protagonists of the work.

Güngen extended his thanks those who contributed to the preparation of the exhibition, which he recommended to both children and adults.

The exhibition remained open to visitors on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day, and May 5, Children's Day in Japan.
