Certificate award ceremony held the Turkish Red Crescent Şehit Serhat Önder Social Services Center

Turkish language trainees of the Turkish Red Crescent Şehit Serhat Önder Social Services Center have been given their certificates.

The first certificate award ceremony has been held for the Turkish language courses organized at Şehit Serhat Önder Social Services Center in collaboration between Yunus Emre Institute and the Turkish Red Crescent. Having attended the Turkish language courses since April and successfully completed the A1 level, the participants were handed over their certificates at a ceremony on November 29, 2018.

Turkish Red Crescent Executive Board Member Prof. Dr. Fatma Meriç Yılmaz, Turkish Red Crescent Ankara Branch Director Ahmet Hizanlıoğlu, Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Education Director Prof. Dr. Yavuz Kartallıoğlu, trainees and their families attended the ceremony held at Esztergom Castle in Keçiören.

During the ceremony, Turkish Red Crescent Executive Board Member Prof. Dr. Fatma Meriç Yılmaz and Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Education Director Prof. Dr. Yavuz Kartallıoğlu delivered speeches and congratulated the participants.

Then, 92 trainees including Syrians, Iraqis, and Yemenis were issued their certificates. At the end of the program, the attendants posed for a souvenir photo.

Şehit Serhat Önder Social Services Center, attached to the Ankara branch of the Turkish Red Crescent, offer Turkish language courses as well as vocational courses on hairdressing, skin care, tailoring, etc., Turkish and foreign women.
