‘’Creative Writing Workshop’’ in Nicosia
The first Creative Writing Workshop project was held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
The first Creative Writing Workshop program, organized in cooperation with Nicosia Yunus Emre Institute (YEI), Cyprus Foundations Administration, Cyprus Damla Association, and Ankara Social Sciences University (ASBU) Northern Cyprus Campus, was held at Nicosia Yunus Emre Institute center.
IT WILL LAST FOR FOUR WEEKS
The workshop, the first part of which started on March 18, 2022, and is planned to last for four weeks, will be attended by two experienced writers each week to share their knowledge and experiences.
University student Ahmet Devin, who attended the workshop, said he is interested in writing and plans to benefit from experienced writers during the workshop.
Hilal Kanlı, a student in Turkish Language and Literature Department, stated that she participated in this workshop because it contributes to her profession, her interest in books, and the opportunity to meet writers of these books.
University students who want to express themselves by writing, make progress in writing, and improve their expression skills will attend the Creative Writing Workshop.
In the program, it is aimed to provide the participants with the ability to create literary texts, acquire writing style, and develop texts with editorial support.
