An event entitled "Different Shores: Turkey" has been held in Moscow, the capital of Russia.

The event held at the Museum of the World Okean, the largest maritime museum of Russia, as part of 2019 Turkey-Russia Mutual Culture and Tourism Year was attended by Yunus Emre Institute's Moscow Branch.

During the program organized in Svetlogorsk (Kaliningrad Oblast) on June 29, 2019, Institute Director Prof. Dr. Ömer Özkan delivered a keynote speech, giving information on the activities conducted by Turkey and the Institute. Promotional videos were aired before the photography exhibition entitled "Turkey's Charms" by the Photojournalists Association of Turkey was opened.

Turkish coffee cooked using a pot on hot sand was offered to the tastes of the participants and traditional Turkish archery and marbling workshops were held.
