Disabled Young People Gather for the Fast-Breaking Dinner

A fast-breaking (iftar) dinner program has been organized within the scope of the Week for the People with Disabilities in Rabat, the capital of Morocco.

The program was held at Mohamed VI Center for the Disabled with the participation of the people with disabilities as well as the people working in the field of assistance and rehabilitation.

During the program attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Rabat Ahmet Aydın Doğan, Yunus Emre Institute's Rabat Branch Director Ensar Fırat and Mohamed VI Center for the Disabled Director Bedreddin el-Geylani, Turkish tunes played with the ney (reed flute) and the transverse flute.

Delivering a keynote speech, Ambassador Doğan drew attention to the opportunity afforded by similar activities to strengthen the ties between Morocco and Turkey, stressing the importance of inclusive practices toward the people with disabilities.

At the end of the program, the students with disabilities were presented with gifts and the participants posed for photo shooting.
