“The Earth in Blue” Painting Exhibition in Mostar

The opening of the painting exhibition titled “The Earth in Blue” took place at the Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The opening of the “The Earth in Blue” exhibition was attended by representatives of Turkish institutions and organizations, art enthusiasts, and invited guests.

At the opening program of the exhibition hosted by the Yunus Emre Institute in Mostar, 44 works by Turkish painter Reşit İsmet, created on canvas using acrylic technique, were featured.

Speaking at the exhibition opened as part of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye, painter Raşit İsmet expressed his happiness at being a guest at the Yunus Emre Institute.

İsmet, who mentioned working on various subjects such as the sea, boats, and musicians in his artworks, emphasized that the painting featuring whirling dervishes in the exhibition held a special significance for him.

The program also featured a music concert showcasing unique works of Turkish music, aimed at introducing Turkish music to art enthusiasts.
