Matters to Be Taken into Consideration during the Translation process Discussed

The first work of the event series, which will continue until the end of the year and where a book will be told every month, was Orhan Pamuk's book "The Red Haired Woman". The Serbian translator of the book, Prof. Dr. Mirjana Marinkovic and cinema and literature critic Cem Öztüfekçi read some sections of the book in Turkish and Serbian, analyzed how the author's dream world was shaped, through the characters, and made various suggestions. Marinkovic, who works as a Turcologist at the University of Belgrade, gave information about the issues she paid attention to during the translation process and the beautiful and fluent use of Turkish.

At the event, which attracted a lot of attention, various publishing houses and translators in Serbia followed the program with interest.
