"I Can Do It Too" Exhibition Has Been Hope for the Future

In the capital city of Sudan, Khartoum, on 21 March Down Syndrome Awareness Day, a very colorful exhibition was held for professional children with Down syndrome to demonstrate their skills. The works done in different categories by children with Down syndrome were highly appreciated in the exhibition, which is a glimmer of hope for the future. 

 

On March 21, Down Syndrome Awareness Day, “I Can Do It Too” exhibition was held at Khartoum Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center.

THEY ARE SERVING THE SOCIETY WITH THEIR PROFESSIONS

It showed once again that children with Down syndrome can have a place in the society by acquiring a profession. 

In the exhibition, the products produced by children in the categories of landscape, food, packaging, and accessories were viewed with interest by the visitors.

Certificate ceremony of the exhibition held at the Turkish cultural center on 60th Avenue was attended by the Sudanese sovereignty council member Aisha Musa, Social Development Ministry Undersecretary Mohamed Hussein Abdelgadir, Republic of Turkey Ambassador Irfan Neziroğlu, Brazilian Ambassador Patrice Maria Olivera, Indonesian Ambassador Rushaman Adnan, Somali Ambassador Mohamed Sheikh Ibrahim and press members.

On the occasion of Mart 21 is Mother’s day, mothers of children with Down syndrome were given a certificate of appreciation by Republic of Turkey Ambassador Irfan Neziroğlu.
