Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu visits Sudan

Interior Minister of the Republic of Turkey Süleyman Soylu has paid a visit to Yunus Emre Institute's Khartoum branch as part of his official visit to Khartoum, the capital of Sudan.

Arriving at the Institute on December 1, 2018, Minister Soylu was briefed about the Institute's activities before he signed the book of honor. "It is honor and source of pride for me to find Yunus Emre Institute in every country I happen to visit as the forerunner of the initiative to bring our culture and civilization to our sisters and brother. With gratitude and prayers for those who contribute to the spread of this mindset," he said.

As part of his talks in Sudan, Interior Minister Soylu also met Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Khartoum Maarif Schools and the Turkish civil society organizations (CSOs) operating in Sudan.
