The kindergarten students, aged 4-6, who attended the Turkish activities organized by Yunus Emre Institute's Budapest branch at four schools in cooperation with Budapest Kispest Municipality, have graduated with excitement.

A closing ceremony entitled "Little Tulips Learn Turkish" was held with the participation of 70 students from Árnyas Kindergarten and Szivárnány Kindergarten, affiliated to Kispest Municipality, as part of the Turkish-Hungarian cultural interaction program, implemented based on the saying, "Man's homeland is his childhood."

During the program, the Little Tulips sang various Turkish songs such as “Ellerim Tombik Tombik”, “Mevsimler”, “Ali Baba’nın Bir Çiftliği Var”, “Bugün Bayram”, “Kırmızı Balık”, and “Neler Oluyor Hayatta” in a different choreography. They recited Nazım Hikmet's poem “Dünya’yı Verelim Çocuklara” and staged a play based on Nasrettin Hoca's joke “Parayı Veren Düdüğü Çalar”. With their outstanding performances of Hungarian folk dances as well as traditional Turkish folk dances, the kids exhibited the intercultural interaction that dates back thousands of years as it was reflected in the Turkish-Hungarian folklore having common roots.
