Yunus Emre Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş visited Solfasol Primary School on Tuesday, February 13^th.

İnstitute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş who received information from the School Principal Hakan Caner, gathered with the students during the visit. In Ankara Solfasol Primary School, almost all students are Syrian children living in the region, and upon school's request, the book "I Learn Vocabulary with Pictures" prepared by the Institute and the supplementary materials developed for learning Turkish as a foreign language, were delivered to the students as gifts.

Yunus Emre Institute develops curriculum and materials for different age groups

Yunus Emre Institute aims to make teaching Turkish to foreigners widespread through cultural centers opened in different parts of the world since 2009 as well as through collaborations established with educational institutions and Turcology departments in various countries, and with certification programs organized considering the requirements in this field, Yunus Emre Institute trains expert instructors and develops basic and supplementary course materials in the light of contemporary language teaching methods.

Yunus Emre Institute that prepares educational materials that appeal to individuals of different age groups and professions, based on the experience gained in the field, has prepared the books "Seven Climate Turkish Instruction Set" for adults, "I'm Learning Turkish" for 10-15 year target group, and "Turkish for Children" for children aged 6-9. In addition to the book sets, Institute has developed supplementary materials such as the thematic dictionary titled "I Learn Vocabulary with Pictures", "Seven Climate Turkish Z Book", "Seven Climate Turkish Taste", "Seven Climate Turkish Speaking and Writing Book", "Seven Climate Turkish Video Activities Book" and “Thematic Vocabulary Instruction Banner Set" to be used in the field.
