"Middle East and North Africa Education Program" Starts in Ankara Organized Under the Cooperation with Yunus Emre Institute and ORSAM

The "Middle East and North Africa Education Program" organized by Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) and the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM) will be held in Ankara.

The program, which was trained by the coordinators and experts of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies between August 9-11, 2022, for Yunus Emre Institute staff, started with the opening speeches of Yunus Emre Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş and President of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uysal.

In his opening speech at the program held at the Institute's Red Crescent Annex Building, Yunus Emre Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş emphasized the importance of peace saying, "As Yunus Emre Institute, our main mission is to spread peace in the geographies where we are located and to contribute to world peace.’’

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uysal, President of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, stated that he was very pleased with this training program organized jointly with Yunus Emre Institute.

AN EDUCATION PROGRAM IN LIGHT OF CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA

The three-day training will cover a wide range of topics such as "North Africa and Turkey in International Politics", "Basic Parameters of Turkey-Iran Relations: Problems, Conflicts and Areas of Cooperation", "Turkey-Syria Relations in the Light of Field Observations", "Russian Private Military Companies in the Middle East", as well as current issues in the Middle East and North Africa, international politics, foreign policy, economic policy, conflict, and cooperation. Participants will receive an education certificate at the end of the program.
