Mother Nature Exhibition opened in London

Turkish citizen of Sephardic origin Artist Terry Katalan introduces to the art lovers with 21 collages in which she combined dried flowers with oil paint in the exhibition titled Mother Nature. Organized by London Yunus Emre Enstitüsü with support from Turkish Consulate General to London, the exhibition was opened on the evening of 4 March 2016 with a reception which was attended by Turkish Ambassador and Turkish Consul General to London, London Cervantes Institute Director, and numerous guests. Exhibition Mother Nature received moral support from London Cervantes Institute and points out the incontestable significance and contributions of women on the occasion of “World Women's Day”.

Artist Katalan's works are inspired by the colorful natures of Istanbul she was born and raised in, and Barcelona she lived in for many years, and she introduces a distinct breath of culture, history and nature to her works in which she reflects the spirits of these two magnificent Mediterranean cities. Katalan who invented her authentic style with the approach of Spanish Architect Antonio Gaudi who said “Nothing is art if it does not come from the nature”, reminds us with her works our obligation to protect the beauty of nature and the nature itself. 

Art exhibition Mother Nature features paintings each more colorful than the next which demonstrate the magic of Mother Nature and her perfect harmony with the colors and works are presented to the taste of art lovers in London in London Yunus Emre Enstitüsü until 30 March.
