The projects supported as part of the EU-Turkey Intercultural Dialogue (ICD) Programme implemented by Yunus Emre Institute can now be accessed easily. "Moving Stones: Europe's Neolithic Bridge Anatolia," one of these projects, has got a new website. All information, documents, activities and announcements about the project can be accessed from neolithic-bridge.eu.

Europe's Neolithic Bridge: Anatolia

The project deals with Anatolia's Neolithic and its transfer to Europe and the intercultural dialogue established between scientists on this basis in an effort to make these two facts more visible to the general public and open up new room for dialogue.

The project is coordinated by Institut Français d’Études Anatoliennes (French Institute of Anatolian Studies or IFEA), which a French organization subordinated to France and Europe Foreign Ministry and Centre national de la recherche scientifique (French National Center for Scientific Research or CNRS - USR 31319), in cooperation with the Association of Man, Space, Energy and Environment (İMEÇE ) and BABİL Society, Culture, Art Studies and Documentary Cinematography Association in Istanbul. The project brings together scientists, field students and young graduates working on the Neolithic from Turkey and EU member countries, relevant civil society organizations, media representatives who are specialized on the subject, local historians and researchers as well as the groups that are attracted to historical heritage. The document film to be shot as part of the project will promote Turkey's Neolithic heritage in the international arena.
