About Projects

The British Council, the mastermind behind one of these projects, seeks to create and strengthen creative hubs and communities with its partners from Greece, Serbia and Turkey while the French Institute of Anatolian Studies (IFEA) aims to prepare a documentary on the Neolithic heritage of Turkey and Europe to be screened in various countries. The Hungarian Cultural Center intends to organize festivals and events in the countries flanking the Danube which will make new contributions to the cultural interactions that have been going on for thousands of years. Institut Français de Turquie provides 26 artists from France, Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey with the opportunity to set sail to new experiences through residency programmes.

During the implementation process of the programme, the activities for reinforcing cooperation and interaction between Yunus Emre Institute and the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) are put into practice and Turkey's place in the cultural map of Europe is emphasized.
