"In-service Training Program for Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language" In Beirut and Tirana

"In-Service Training for Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language" was organized in Tirana Yunus Emre Enstitüsü between February 27th and March 1st 2017 for Turcologists in Albania, and for Turkish Teachers commissioned by the Ministry of National Education in Beirut Yunus Emre Enstitüsü between March 6th-8th 2017.

Participants attended the theoretical courses given by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü specialists and participated in workshops aimed at four basic language skill areas for three days in both programs.

In the program “Qualifications of Instructors in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language, Teaching European Languages Common Application Document and Turkish Instruction, Exam Preparation and Assessment Criteria in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language, Classroom Relations and Classroom Management in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language, Teaching of Four Language Skills in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language” courses were given, and workshops were organized.

Participants stating that they greatly benefited from the training and workshops, requested for the trainings be held every year and the courses to be spread over time.

At the closing ceremonies held at Tirana Yunus Emre Enstitüsü and Beirut Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, "In-Service Training Program for Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language" participation certificates  were presented following the closing speeches. Attended by Turkish Ambassador to Beirut Çağatay Erciyes, the program in Beirut ended with presentation of certificates.
