In-Service Training for Turkish Teachers in the Netherlands

Yunus Emre Institute's Amsterdam Branch organized a digital training program for Turkish teachers in the Netherlands. In-service training program organized through the social media platform Zoom on June 22-23 started with with the keynote speeches of Turkish Teaching and Turkology Director Prof. Dr. Yavuz Kartallıoğlu and Yunus Emre Institute's Amsterdam Branch Director Abdullah Altay Abdullah A. Altay. 

The participation in the training program called “In-Service Training for Turkish Teachers” followed by 54 Turkish teachers was intense. On the first day of the program, training presentations were given to our teachers working in the field of teaching Turkish to bilingual Turkish children. Gazi University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kara, Assoc. Dr. Ülker Şen from Aziz Kiril and Metodity Univeristy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Durmuş from Hacettepe University, Prof. Dr. Kutlay Yağmur from Tilburg University, Gazi University TÖMER Assistant Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Mustafa Kurt and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kemalettin Deniz from Gazi University provided training for Turkish teachers with their presentations.

On the second and last day of the program, Prof. Dr. Fatma Açık, Prof. Dr. İhsan Kalenderoğlu, Prof. Dr. Adnan Kan and Prof. Dr. Gıyasettin Aytaş from from Gazi University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özay Karadağ from Hacettepe University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Baş from Yıldız Technical University completed the training program with their presentations.
