"Songs from the Turkic World" in Hungary

The "Songs from the Turkic World" has been held in Duna Palota in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

The event, organized jointly with the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY) to mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Yunus Emre Institute, was held on December 10, 2019 in Hungary, which has recently attained the observer status in the Turkic Council.

The musicians took the staged and performed songs from the Turkish world in the company of the musical folk instruments specific to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey for Hungarian music lovers. The works of famous composers of the Turkic world, the folk songs of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Uighur Turks, and the folk dances of various regions garnered intense interest from music lovers.
