Syrian Artists’ Paintings  Exhibited at YEI in Azaz

An art exhibition with the theme "There is hope, if there is art!" was held at Azaz Yunus Emre Institute on August 18, 2021. Art lovers showed great interest for the exhibition consisting of the works of Syrian artists. Syrian administrators also visited the exhibition.

The works of Syrian artists Ammar Saflo, Gasan Alslyman, Anis Hamdun, Aziz Asmar, Rami Abdulhak, Salam Hamid and Kulud Matuk were displayed at the exhibition.

 

YEI WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ART IN AZAZ

In his speech at the opening of the exhibition, Azaz Yunus Emre Institute Director Fikret Çıtak stated his happiness for the deep interest in the exhibition and mentioned that Syria would be revived through art. Çıtak added that Yunus Emre Institute would always support such art activities in Azaz.

ART STRENGTHENS THE BONDS OF FELLOWSHIP 

Çıtak said that the strong bonds between the two peoples, Turks and Syrians, were enhanced through art and emphasized the importance of relaying the message of Syrians to the whole world through art.

The exhibition, which attracted great interest from the Syrians, will be open for visit until August 25, 2021.
