The tenth Turkish Summer School, organized by Yunus Emre Institute, offers 100 young people coming from different countries around the world to learn Turkish language and Turkey by living.

The students are given opportunities to learn about Turkey cultural heritage and natural beauties in addition to the Turkish lessons given in the program where the medium of communication is Turkish. In the last week of the program, the students discover the historical and cultural heritage of Istanbul.

Thus, they have had a chance to see many historical and touristic sites including Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Topkapı Palace, Galata Tower and Büyükada and took any photographs and videos to immortalize their experiences.

Following a visit to Büyükada, Mehrnaz Keyhanfar, from Iran, express her impressions as follows: "I am now visiting the city of my dreams. I am 27 years old, and the greatest wish was made true by Yunus Emre Institute. I am in a fabulous dream and I don't want to wake up."

The Turkish Summer School, which hosts different cultures around the world without linguistic, religious, or racial discrimination in Turkey, will end with the closing ceremony to be held in Küçüksu Palace on Friday, August 2, with the Institute's thematic summer schools gathering in Istanbul.
