“Traces of Turkish Culture’’ Exhibition Opens in Argentina

In Argentina, the "Traces of Turkish Culture" exhibition prepared by the Embassy of Turkey in Buenos Aires and Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) to promote Turkish culture was presented to the public.

The event, which was held on July 30, 2022, at the Yunus Emre Institute’s headquarters in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, was attended by representatives of the country's official institutions, representatives of foreign missions, and guests.

FROM LANGUAGE TO ART, ARCHITECTURE TO FOOD CULTURE 

The exhibition titled "Traces of Turkish Culture" featured cultural elements related to Turkish language, history, art, architecture, food culture, and traditions.

In his speech here, Turkey's Ambassador to Buenos Aires, Şefik Vural Altay, emphasized the importance of the event and said that Yunus Emre Institute was welcomed with interest by Argentine citizens.

Stating that Turkish TV series have increased the interest in Turkish culture in Latin America, Altay underlined that 5 Turkish TV series are broadcast in Argentina, and the interest shown is due to the traditional family values in the series.

In addition to the exhibition, Turkish delicacies were served to the guests, and a music concert consisting of Anatolian melodies was presented.
