Turkey Ascended 15 Steps in 2016 Rio Paralympic Games

As Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, we congratulate Turkish National Team who ascended 15 steps in worldwide medal ranking in 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.

At the end of the 7th day of 2016 Rio Paralympic Games participated by 4148 athletes from 160 countries, Turkish National Team ascended to 30th step from among 160 countries.

Turkey completed the day with a total of three medals as Abdullah Öztürk won gold medal and Kübra Korkut silver in table tennis, and Semih Deniz won a bronze medal in athleticism. With a total of 7 medals, 2 being gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze, Turkey rose to 30th place from 45th.

We congratulate Turkish National Team who made Turkey proud in Rio Paralympic Games and wish them continued success.
