As Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, we congratulate Turkish National Team who ascended 15 steps in worldwide medal ranking in 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.

At the end of the 7^th day of 2016 Rio Paralympic Games participated by 4148 athletes from 160 countries, Turkish National Team ascended to 30^th step from among 160 countries.

Turkey completed the day with a total of three medals as Abdullah Öztürk won gold medal and Kübra Korkut silver in table tennis, and Semih Deniz won a bronze medal in athleticism. With a total of 7 medals, 2 being gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze, Turkey rose to 30^th place from 45^th.

We congratulate Turkish National Team who made Turkey proud in Rio Paralympic Games and wish them continued success.
