“Turkey Days” event was held on September 30, 2021, in Vladimir, Russia. The event, which included cultural richness of Turkey, photo exhibitions on the theme of Turkey, Turkish cinema, and culinary culture was organized in cooperation with the Vladimir Regional Government, the Vladimir National Staff and Career Development Association and the Moscow Yunus Emre Institute.
BEAUTIES OF TURKEY AND ISTANBUL THEMED PHOTO EXHIBITIONS
In the program organized with the great interest of university students from Vladimir, the photo exhibitions "Istanbul's Reflections from the Heart of a Muscovite" and "The Beauties of Turkey" were opened with the presentation of Muscovite artist Elena Belyakova and presented to the participants.
TURKISH CINEMA AND TURKISH TASTES
At the end of the program, which continued with folk dances and songs, the Turkish movie "Patron Mutlu Son İstiyor” (The Boss Wants a Happy Ending) was screened. Refreshments from Turkish cuisine was served to the guests at the event.
Taking the stage first in the opening speeches, Moscow Yunus Emre Institute Director Prof. Dr. Ömer Özkan gave a speech on Turkish culture and the activities of Yunus Emre Institute. Then, Deputy Governor of the Vladimir Region Grigoriy Nikolayevich Vishnevsky, Member of the Federation Council of the Vladimir Region Olga Nikolayevna Hohlova, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region Vyacheslav Yuryevich Kartuhin, General Director of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum Sergey Yevgenyevich Rybakov, Vice-Chancellor of Vladimir State University Aleksey Alexandrovich Panfilov, District Legislative Assembly Member Antov Pavel Genrihovic, and Turkish Embassy to Moscow Education Counselor Assoc. Dr. Alper Alp gave speeches on the meaning and importance of the day.
