Turkey has been promoted in East-Fest, a festival held in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.

The Festival was held in Taras Shevchenko Park and attended by Turkey, Crimean Tatars, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Karachay-Cherkessia, Palestine and African communities.

In the festival that served as a venue for countries to promote their cultural assets, Yunus Emre Institute's Kiev Branch showcased the objects from the Turkish culture and treats from Turkish cuisine, Turkish coffee and Turkish tea.

The "Misafir" (Guest) orchestra, performing songs from Turkish and Crimean Tatar music and the exhibition of marbling works arouse heightened interest.
