Turkish Certificate Exams Held in Uzbekistan

Yunus Emre Institute continues to support Turkish language teaching in different geographies of the world. Yunus Emre Institute Exam Center, with the support of the Turkish Embassy in Tashkent, held the Turkish Certificate Exam at A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 levels, between 22 and 27 November 2021 at Ali Şir Nevâî University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. University students, teachers, academics, soldiers, business people and many people from different professional groups who wanted to certify their Turkish language level participated in the exams. Those who are successful in the applied exam will be entitled to receive Turkish certificate at different levels according to their scores.

 

PRESENTATION OF ALI ŞÎR NEVAÎ'S WORKS, MINIATURES EXHIBITION AND PANEL

The Institute had many contacts in Uzbekistan between the same dates. On November 23, 2021, "Presentation of Ali Şîr Nevaî Works and Nevaî Miniatures Exhibition and Panel" was held in Tashkent with the support of the Institute. The opening speech of the panel, which was held with scientists from Uzbekistan and Turkey, was made by Yunus Emre Institute's Director of Turkish Education and Turcology Prof. Yavuz Kartallıoğlu. Prof. Kartallıoğlu, who included the works of the institute in his speech, expressed his satisfaction that the Institute organizes and is instrumental in organizing scientific meetings.

"TURKISH HOUR" PROGRAM ON UZBEKISTAN PUBLIC TELEVISION

Necessary meetings were held in order to evaluate the ongoing studies on the organization of the "Turkish Hour" program on Uzbekistan State Television and the use of the videos prepared by the Institute for Turkish teaching within the scope of this program. It was focused on how the media can be used for the spread of Turkish teaching in Uzbekistan. In addition, Yunus Emre Institute experts and assistant experts visited the Uzbek Language Teaching Center for Foreigners and shared their experiences with the experts there.

DELIGHT AND COLOGNE CONFERENCE IN TURKISH CULTURE

The conference "Delight and Cologne in Turkish Culture" given by Prof. Dr. Yavuz Kartallıoğlu at Ali Şir Nevâî University in Tashkent on 22 November, at Tashkent State Oriental University on 23 November and at the University of Foreign Languages in Samarkand on 24 November attracted great attention.

At the conference held in three different universities for three days, the adventure of Turkish delight and cologne from past to present was conveyed to the audience.

After the conference, the participants had the opportunity to taste Turkish delight in different flavors and try colognes in various scents.
