Turkish Coffee Comes in Menus in South Korea

As a part of the "Turkish Coffee in South Korea" project initiated by Yunus Emre Institute, Turkish coffee now comes in menus in the country.

The written statement made by Yunus Emre Institute states the institute continues its efforts to promote Turkish culture in South Korea, where it has been operating since 2019.

TURKISH COFFEE IN SOUTH KOREA PROJECT PROMOTES TURKISH COFFEE CULTURE

The "Turkish Coffee in South Korea" project launched by Yunus Emre Institute, aims to promote Turkish coffee culture in South Korea. The project activities include a partnership between Seoul Yunus Emre Institute and BeBridge, a chain of coffee shops based in South Korea. The supports of Turkish Embassy to Seoul, Turkish Airlines Seoul Office, Arzum OKKA and Kütahya Ceramics; South Koreans had the chance to taste Turkish coffee.
 

The agreement signed between Seoul Yunus Emre Institute and BeBridge, which has 23 branches in Seoul, made it possible to offer Turkish coffee to BeBridge customers.

Before the project was implemented, training programs were organized for coffee shop employees so that the authentic taste of Turkish coffee could be enjoyed in South Korea.

Turkish coffee, which is served exclusively with baklava at BeBridge branches, has attracted great interest from South Koreans since the first day. Hundreds of people shared their Turkish coffee experience on social media through photos and videos.

As a part of the project, there will be a giveaway for the people who share their experience on social media on the first 30 days of the project. 5 people will be awarded round-trip tickets from Seoul to Istanbul, 5 people will be given coffee cup sets and many more will win coupons and various gifts.
