Turkish Proficiency Test Contact Meeting for Students with Turkish Scholarships held in Ankara

Held by collaboration of Yunus Emre Enstitüsü and Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, contact meeting for Turkish Proficiency Test to be organised between June 13th and 16th aimed at 3000 students with Turkish scholarships, took place in Ankara on June 2nd

Supervisors of Turkish Instruction Centres in 47 universities, representatives of Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities and Yunus Emre Enstitüsü officials attended the meeting. Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Vice President Dr. Şaban Çobanoğlu made the first speech in the meeting and stated that he hopes for the testing-evaluation activities in Turkish Instruction to Foreigners will become standardised. Representative of Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities Serhat Acar took the stage after the speech and marked that Turkish Instruction Centres are of major importance, the students from other nations meet with Turkish language and a perspective on Turkey in these centres and they continue their college educations with the Turkish they learn in these centres. He also mentioned that the outcomes of this meeting will take the participants a step further in Turkish instruction.

The meeting where Kerim Sarıgül, Nursel Tan Elmas and Hilal Bağcı from Yunus Emre Enstitüsü provided information on the application of Turkish Proficiency Test ended with a Q&A session with the participants.
