The 3rd International Students Short Film, Story and Poetry Competition, "My Country is Turkey," organized by the Federation of International Student Associations (UDEF) with support from Yunus Emre Institute, has brought together hundreds of young people under the theme of "Peace."

Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş delivered a keynote speech during the program in which "Peace"-themed short films, stories and poems by the international students who have come to Turkey to attend universities from many countries around the globe competed. The winning works, selected by the jury members who were experts in their fields, brought awards to their authors.

The winners were Manasbeg Maksudov from Kyrgyzstan in the field of short film, Ouesseini Zoomer from Burkina Faso in the field of story and Sabina Abbaslı from Azerbaijan in the field of poetry. The winning students were given various gifts.
