World Famous Kanun Player Ahmet Baran Gives Concert in Croatia

World famous kanun virtuoso Ahmet Baran met with music lovers in Rijeka, the coastal city of Croatia.
The concert organized as part of the Porto Etno Festival in cooperation with Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) and The Croatian-Turkish Society of Rijeka attracted great attention.
Artists from Azerbaijan, Jordan, Spain, and Iran also took part in the festival, where Baran brought together Croatian and Turkish works with the Rijeka orchestra.
The festival, attended by Yunus Emre Institute for the first time this year, brings together many activities from music to gastronomy and culture to modern arts in Rijeka.
