Within the scope of the Summer Turkish School that the Yunus Emre Institute has been providing every year, the social media competition which will be arranged this year with the title of “Explore Turkey” is expecting its contestants. The students of the 2018 Summer Turkish School are going to experience the excitement of the tight race by sharing what they saw in Turkey in the categories of photographs, video clips and texts.

PARTICIPATION TERMS:

Only 2018 Turkish Summer School students organized within Yunus Emre Institute can participate in contest.

The competition will start on Monday, 16 July 2018.

Participation to the contest is free.

Owners of prize-winning works have to document that they are students.

Works serving political purposes, involving unfavorable and harmful statements, not complying with general code of ethics, including insult and firm name no matter for what reason it is used will be kept out of the competition.

In order to apply to the contest, it is obligatory to like and/or follow social accounts of Yunus Emre Institute (Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/yeeorgtr, Twitter: https://twitter.com/yeeorgtr, https://twitter.com/yeeorgtr_EN, Instagram: https://instagram.com/yeeorgtr)

It is obligatory for the competing works (photograph, video and text) to be shared in the above-mentioned social media accounts with #TürkiyeyiKeşfet tag and to tag Yunus Emre Institute’s account @yeeorgtr.

Little typing errors occur in writing #TürkiyeyiKeşfet tag will be accepted with the decision of jury.

Photographs and videos should have been taken throughout Turkish Summer School. Other behavior it is considered as violation of rule.

Performing basic processes such as color, acutance, dusting on photopraphs and videos; contrast controls, photographic interventions to an acceptable degree are accepted. About this, opinion of the jury is essential.

Participant accepts, states and promises that work s/he loaded to the internet site for the contest are completely hers/him and obtained all permissions.

All works sent should have been taken by the contestant. In case of completely or partly usage of images and texts that belong to someone else, violation of rule procedure is processed for the participant.  

Everyone participating in the contest considered as having read, completely understood and accepted participation terms in advance.

Turkish Summer School students can participate in the contest till August 12, 2018 14:00.
