Yunus Emre "Come and See Me" Exhibition in Budapest

The opening ceremony for the Yunus Emre: Come and See Me Exhibition, organized within the scope of the Year of Yunus Emre and Turkish Language, was held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

The exhibition was held on the occasion of the 2021 Year of Yunus Emre and Turkish Language declared by the Republic of Turkey's Presidency and received great interest.

The exhibition was organized on December 16, 2021 with the collaboration of Budapest Yunus Emre Institute, Turkish Council Budapest Representative Office, International Turkish Culture Organization and Ankara Maturation Institute, and the opening of the exhibition hosted the representatives of Turkish institutions, Turcologists, students and Turkish and Hungarian art lovers.

TO BE EXHIBITED IN MANY CITIES OF HUNGARY

There are some 40 works of art, including paintings, miniatures and calligraphies, displayed in the exhibition that depict the clothing and history of the period in which Yunus Emre lived.

The exhibition can be visited at the Yunus Emre Institute building till the end of year and will travel to many cities of Hungary including Szigetvár.
