Turkish Film Screenings Start in Moscow
The film "Between Two Dawns" met with cinema lovers as part of the screening of Turkish films in Moscow, the capital of Russia.
Under the auspices of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow, with the support of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in cooperation with the Moscow Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) and the Russian Filmmakers Association, the film "Between Two Dawns" was screened at the Cinema House (Dom Kino) in Moscow.
The film, which was shown with Russian subtitles, was appreciated by the audience.
As part of the screening of Turkish films, the movie "A Champion for Us" will meet the audience on June 27, and the movie "Butterfly's Dream" will meet the audience on August 12. Films will be shown with Russian subtitles.
YEI Moscow Coordinator Mehmet Ülker, in his statement after the film screening, stated that Turkish films and series are attracting attention in Russia and this is pleasing.
Stating that there is a high demand for the screening of Turkish films in other cities of Russia, Ülker said, "Art helps Russian and Turkish people get to know each other better and creates a bridge between the two countries. For this reason, we attach importance to organizing events such as film screenings in Russia. "We are happy to introduce our culture to the Russian people with our Turkish films,” he said.
