Türkiye's Cultural Door to the World: Yunus Emre Institute
Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) continues to tell Türkiye's story around the world and to be at the focal point of many stories where Turkish culture touches lives.
The Institute started its activities abroad in 2009 and in a short time implemented hundreds of activities aimed at making Turkish culture the center of attention worldwide and popularizing Turkish throughout the world.
Yunus Emre's Philosophy of Tolerance Carried to a Wide Geography
In addition to its work within the scope of its mission to increase Türkiye's international recognition, the Institute has carried Yunus Emre's philosophy of tolerance to a wide geography through its representatives from South America to Southeast Asia.
Türkiye's Story Told Internationally
The Institute told Türkiye's story internationally by introducing Anatolia's deep-rooted cultural heritage and Turkish culture all over the world.
Strong ties have been established in every corner of the world, sometimes through gastronomy activities where thousands of years of history are reflected on the tables, and sometimes through events where hearts are united with the universal tone of music.
Türkiye's Admirable Values Take Place on the World Stage
With its activities, the Institute continues to bring the admirable values of Anatolia, the cradle of civilizations, to the world stage, especially literature, art, music, gastronomy and handicrafts.
In addition to promoting Turkish culture in different geographies with the motto "Let's get acquainted", Yunus Emre Institute continues to establish permanent bonds that extend into the future by creating a basis for cultural dialogues.
Regarding the increase in the number of people establishing ties with Turkey worldwide thanks to the activities of the Institute said, "We have many stories to tell the world on this path that we set out in 2009 to promote Türkiye and Türkiye's cultural elements abroad," Professor Abdurrahman Aliy said.
President Professor Abdurrahman Aliy made the following evaluations: “Beyond the projects and activities we carry out, we establish permanent bonds with people in different parts of the world. In the background of the projects we have implemented, there are many special and striking stories of many people who are interested in Türkiye and Turkish culture. The interest shown in Turkish culture in more than 60 countries, where we carry Türkiye's cultural riches to all corners of the world, is our greatest source of motivation. We are extremely happy to witness the worldwide interest in Türkiye and Turkish culture. In the 'Türkiye Century', we will continue our activities to open Türkiye's cultural doors abroad and popularize the Turkish language through our 90 representatives."
