“21st International Embassies Futsal Tournament” Held in Germany
The “21st International Embassies Futsal Tournament” was organized in cooperation with Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) and the Potsdam Metropolitan Municipality in Potsdam, Germany.
Football teams comprising staff from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassies of Azerbaijan, France, Poland, Spain, Kosovo, Morocco, Romania, Moldova, and Türkiye in Berlin came together for a cultural and athletic tournament.
Potsdam Mayor Mike Schubert attended the tournament as a peace ambassador, and the Embassy of Spain emerged as the champion. France and the German Foreign Ministry secured second and third place finishes, respectively.
Samet Kapısız, Coordinator of Yunus Emre Institute Berlin, awarded medals and trophies to the champion team.
During the tournament, representatives from diplomatic missions in Berlin were introduced to the activities of Yunus Emre Institute as well as the flavors of Turkish cuisine.
