Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Tokyo Yunus Emre Enstitüsü and Tokyo Mosque in Japan where he held official talks.
A Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs paid a visit to Japan after 14 years and as part of the official visit, Çavuşoğlu was in Japan's capital Tokyo where he met with representatives of Turkish and Muslim communities.
Çavuşoğlu who visited Tokyo Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, received information about the operations from officials and stated that the interest Japanese people take in Turkish culture increase each day. Çavuşoğlu also met with the prominent Turcologist and Ottoman historian Prof. Tadashi Suzuki.
The Foreign Minister later visited Tokyo Mosque, and gathered and chatted with the representatives of Turkish and Muslim communities in the region.
