Four Books of Russian Turcologists Introduced in Moscow [1]
At the Book Promotion Days event organized by YEI in Moscow, which has a prestigious place in Moscow, the works written by four Russian Turcologists about Turkey and Turkish culture met with book lovers.
The Book Promotion Days, which is traditionally organized every year, was held on July 2, 2021 at Yunus Emre Institute in Moscow.
In the event where the books about Turkey by leading experts Russian Turcologists, who continue their studies at Russian Universities, were introduced. 4 valuable books were brought together with Moscow book lovers.
THE WORKS OF RUSSIAN TURCOLOGISTS ABOUT TURKEY INTRODUCED
With her work titled Geçiş Dönemi Türk Yazarları, Edebiyat Portreleri (Transition Period Turkish Writers, Literary Portraits), Moscow State University Institute of Asian and African Countries Head of Turkish Philology Department Prof. Dr. Mariya Repenkova; for the work Babam Abdülhamit (My Father Abdulhamit), St. Petersburg State University, Director of the Center for Contemporary Turkey Studies, Prof. Dr. Apollinaria Avrutina; Moscow State University Institute of Asian and African Countries, Deputy Head of Turkish Philology Department Assoc. Dr. Elena Oganova and Anna Kolomoytseva with their textbook titled Türk Dili–Oku, Öğren, Sev (Turkish Language–Read, Learn, Love); Dr. Amur Gadjiev with his work Türkiye–AB İlişkilerinin Gelişmesi: Problemler ve Perspektifler (The Development of Turkey–EU Relations: Problems and Perspectives) participated in the program.
In the event, which was held in Turkish and Russian, the participants had the chance to find answers to the questions they wondered about the works with the words of the researchers. After the program, delicacies from the Turkish cuisine was served to the guests.
