"Bird Language" Documentary Screened in Croatia [1]
The documentary film "Bird Language" was screened in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
The language of birds, used by thousands of people in the Eastern Black Sea region to communicate in difficult geographical conditions, was narrated in a documentary film during the film screening that took place as part of the 56th International Folklore Festival in the country.
Speaking at the screening held at the Zagreb Yunus Emre Institute building, Festival Director Tvrtko Zebec stated that bird language is passed down from generation to generation and is the best example of man's relationship with nature.
Fatih Erkin Mahdum from Yunus Emre Institute also noted that bird language is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
