Deputy Prime Minister Recep Akdağ, who went to Bosnia-Herzegovina to make various contacts, visited Sarajevo Yunus Emre Enstitüsü. Receiving information about the operations of Sarajevo Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, Akdağ gathered with Turkish business people, students, academicians and citizens as part of his visit.

Recep Akdağ made a speech here saying that the success achieved in Bosnia-Herzegovina could set an example to other countries.

Referring to relations between Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina, Deputy Prime Minister Recep Akdağ stated that as Turkish Republic, they make their best efforts to ensure the continuity of high-order relations at every area and that as the government they will support all the efforts given in this direction.

Akdağ stated that the cultural and social relations between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Turkey are maintained and developed, and continued his speech as follows: "Generations in Bosnia-Herzegovina learning Turkish, will further the trade and political relations in the historical course that we all know. When a Turkish investor comes to this country, they search for personnel fluent in both Turkish and Bosnian. It is important that the children and youth learn English however people learning Turkish as a third language, is significant both for the development of the country and with regard to relations with Turkey. Honestly, I am glad that Yunus Emre Enstitüsü accomplishes it with great success. The Enstitü here could set an example to other countries. Sarajevo International University is also a good example. It needs to be improved as well. "
