Kosovo Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Visited YEE

Republic of Kosovo Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Kujtim Gashi and his accompanying delegation, visited Yunus Emre Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş in his office.

Minister Gashi who was in Turkey for official talks, visited Yunus Emre Institute after Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and met with Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş to discuss potential collaborations between the two countries.

Referring to the agreement signed with Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism in the field of culture, Gashi underlined that similar agreements could also be signed with Yunus Emre Institute. Institute President Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş marked that Turkey and Kosovo are two sister countries, and that they are open to collaborations in the fields of culture, education and science. Reminding that they have sent Turkish academics to universities in Kosovo as part of Turcology Project, Prof. Dr. Ateş marked that the Enstitü can provide support for Kosovo's development in the field of science within the framework of Turkey Academic and Scientific Cooperation Project (TABIP).

After mutually presenting gifts, Minister Gashi thanked Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş for their hospitality and expressed his wish for the next meeting to take place in Kosovo.

Minister Gashi was accompanied by Principal Clerk Jehona Shyti, Advisor Samir Hoca, and Chief Clerk of Kosovo Embassy in Ankara Gülşen Bölükbaşı.
