In cooperation with, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Sarajevo, Sarajevo Yunus Emre Institute and Novi Grad Municipality, "11th Turkish Films Week" was organized in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the opening ceremony held in the cinema hall of Novi Grad Municipality in Sarajevo, the Turkish film "120", produced by Özhan Eren and starring Özge Özberk, Burak Sergen and Cansel Elçin, met with the audience.

The film tells the story of how 120 children between the ages of 12 and 16 from Van during the First World War prevented the capture of Erzurum by bringing ammunition to Erzurum under difficult winter conditions, and how the children carrying ammunition were caught in a snowstorm while returning to Van, and 80 children lost their lives.

Stating that unique works of Turkish cinema were shown at the event, Sarajevo Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Coordinator Ersin Akbulut said that they are waiting for cinema lovers to watch the films.

Within the scope of the 11th Turkish Films Week, the films "Gallipoli: The End Of the Road" (Çanakkale Yolun Sonu), "Rafadan Tayfa Çahliz Adıması", "Once Upon a Time in Anatolia", (“Bir Zamanlar Anadolu’da) “A Champion for Us" (Bizim İçin Şampiyon) and "Aslan Hürkuş: Our Mission Gökbey" were presented to the cinema lovers.

11. Türk Filmleri Haftası kapsamında "" (Çanakkale Yolun Sonu),, “Rafadan Tayfa Dehliz Macerası”, “Bir Zamanlar Anadolu’da”, “Bizim İçin Şampiyon” ve “Aslan Hürkuş: Görevimiz Gökbey” filmleri sinemaseverlerin beğenisine sunuldu.

"11th Year", where qualified works of Turkish cinema are brought together with movie lovers. "Turkish Films Week" attracted great attention from people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
