The "People's Voice, Victory of Justice" event organized by Baku Yunus Emre Enstitüsü by collaboration of TÜRKPA and Baku Eurasia University, was held in Azerbaijan capital of Baku.

The program carried out under the auspices of Turkish Embassy to Baku was attended by Turkish Ambassador to Baku Erkan Özoral, Chairman of Ahmet Yesevi University Board of Trustees Dr. Musa Yıldız, Vice Rector of Baku Eurasian University Gülizar İbrahimova, Secretary General of TÜRKPA Jandos Asanov, Azerbaijani Parliament Deputies Hüseyinbala Mirelemov, Şemseddin Hacıyev and Ganira Pashaeva, diplomatic mission representatives, academicians, students and many guests.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's performance of "Azerbaijan-Turkey" poem by the famous Azerbaijani poet Bahtiyar Vahapzade was presented in the program that took start with one minute of silence for martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland and performance of Azerbaijani and Turkish national anthems.

TÜRKPA Secretary General Asanov said the following in his speech: "TÜRKPA strongly condemns FETO's coup attempt, and we would hereby like to say that we unconditionally side with Turkish people." Asanov marking that TÜRKPA supports the Turkish government and its democratic values, noted that the heads of member states also expressed their clear position after the incident.

Stressing that Turkish nation demonstrated on July 15 that the traitors who shoot at their own people will always be defeated, Turkish Ambassador to Baku Özoral spoke as follows:

"This has been, and will always be the case. The nation would never allow such a treachery. The nation took to the streets with the call of Turkish President and gave the coup supporters the response they deserve. July 15 will both be remembered as a disgrace for traitors and a democracy victory in Turkish history. Our duty is to tell young people the treason on July 15^th with all the facts.”

"Not only Turkey's success, but of the entire Turkish world"

Ahmet Yesevi University Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Musa Yıldız stressed that July 15^th was the date of rebirth of a nation.

Yıldız said that some people at home conspired against Turkey, and continued as follows: "The people followed President Erdoğan who stood solemnly, and claimed democracy in their country. This is not only Turkey's success but of the entire Turkish world. The whole world saw that 300 millions large Turkish world is behind Turkey. "

Azerbaijani Deputy Ganire Pashaeva expressed his respect for the July 15^th democracy martyrs  in his speech.

Stating that Turkey is the greatest power of both the Islamic world and Turkish world, Pashaeva said, "The meaning of July 15^th was to destroy Turkey, the fortress of Turkish and Islam world and do as they please in the region. However Turkish people were aware of everything and did not allow it."
