Mert Kılıç, one of the directors and the leading actor of the movie, Aslıhan Güner Kılıç, the other leading actor, and many guests attended the premiere held at Gençlik Mall Cinema Plus.

At night organized with the support of Baku Yunus Emre Institute, Baku moviegoers showed great interest in the couple Aslıhan Güner and Mert Kılıç.

Mert Kılıç, who made a statement to the press members, said that the interest of Azerbaijanis in the movie made him happy and proud.

BASED ON A TRUE STORY

Mert Kılıç said that the movie, which is based on a true story, tells the story of the struggle of Turkish soldiers to save the bodies of their martyred friends.

Kılıç said, "What I said applies to both the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the Turkish Armed Forces. The Turkish soldier does not leave even a boot, let alone the body of a martyr, across the border, on the battlefield. This is the main idea of our movie."

Aslıhan Güner Kılıç stated that a perfect movie awaits the audience, and everyone leaving the theater will leave happy.

WE ARE PLEASED WITH THE INTEREST OF THE AZERBAIJANI PEOPLE

Emphasizing that the production is a film that can be watched by everyone from 7 to 70 and appeals to everyone, Kılıç said, "It is a very high-quality film with its music and visuals in the cinematic sense. I'm very satisfied with it. So the more people it reaches, the happier I will be. We are pleased with the interest of the Azerbaijani people. Tickets were sold out as soon as they were released; all the halls were full. We are very happy and excited to be here. With this beautiful energy of this place, we will return to Turkey and continue our journey."

Baku Yunus Emre Institute Director Selçuk Karakılıç said that YEI is an institution tasked with promoting Turkey's intellectual accumulation and cultural capital abroad.

Stating that they are also struggling to tell the story of Azerbaijan's victory in Karabakh, Karakılıç said, "It is undoubtedly that the Karabakh War was a great military victory. We want to convey this victory of Azerbaijan to the whole world with the knowledge of Turkish cinema and actors, just like in the movie Commander. Today, with the Commander movie, we wanted to show how to make a military movie and how to carry this work to the international arena."

THE FOCUS OF THE MOVIE IS THE LOYALTY OF THE TURKISH SOLDIER

Directed by Selahattin Sancaklı and Mert Kılıç and written by Kılıç, Commander was based on a story that took place during the Euphrates Shield Operation launched by the Turkish Armed Forces to prevent the terrorist organization from creating a corridor in northern Syria.

The action and drama film tells the story of four Turkish soldiers who intervene in an incident in Syria's Al Bab region and their struggle to bring the bodies of their fallen comrades back to Turkey.

Black Hawk and Atak attack helicopters, which are in the inventory of the Gendarmerie General Command and used in the fight against terrorism, were also featured in the movie.
